Pre-Registration for Support
We wanted to share an early heads up on a funding opportunity we expect to open soon.
The Province has received $25.6 million in infrastructure funding to support the creation of new non-profit child care spaces as part of the one-year extension. While full program details have not yet been formally released, we expect this opportunity to be similar in structure to the previous capital funding intake.
Based on past experience, this type of opportunity is likely to involve a competitive process and a short application window, which is why we are preparing in advance.
How We Can Support
We expect to offer limited support in the following areas:

Why Pre-Register
To ensure quality and fairness, we plan to work with a limited number of clients during this intake.
Where appropriate, we may also avoid supporting directly competing projects in the same immediate community area.
Pre-registration allows organizations to express early interest and receive priority follow-up once formal program details are released.
Securing Capacity
For organizations that wish to reserve priority access to support, we expect to offer a small pre-engagement retainer to secure project capacity.
If the intake proceeds as expected and your project moves forward with us, that amount would be applied toward your full project support fee.
