About COS 2027
COS 2027 is a two-day, in-person leadership summit created for the people who lead childcare organizations, support children and families, and help shape the systems surrounding early learning and childcare across Canada.

The Summit brings together owners, operators, directors, educators, policymakers, health professionals, family-support organizations, researchers and community leaders for practical learning, thoughtful conversation and new perspectives.
​
This year’s program is built around one connected idea: stronger leadership creates stronger organizations, stronger communities and brighter futures for children.
​
Day One focuses on the people leading childcare organizations today.
​
Day Two expands the conversation to the children, families, professionals, services and public systems that make up Canada’s childcare community.
​
COS 2027 will bring together thoughtfully connected sessions that combine meaningful inspiration with practical learning and application. Sessions will help participants understand how leadership decisions, program quality, child development, public policy, funding, regulation and community services intersect.
​
COS 2027 also welcomes parents and caregivers to join the designated community portion of Day Two — Parent Community Day. This free session focuses on children's development, neurodivergence, speech and language, health and nutrition, family services and the systems shaping childcare across Canada.
